Joanne Laufer Milo, a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 11, and a native New Yorker, has a BA in psychology and mathematics from Union College in Schenectady, NY, along with an MBA in marketing from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
