Chaim Jones has led an unremarkable declasse life. He drew his first paycheck making cold calls to sell circus tickets. In between stints in academe he's made a living by washing dishes, driving forklifts, filing and typing, managing production of a plumbing-supply catalog, and teaching English composition. He currently copyedits and proofreads for the book-publishing industry, and writes and draws when he can. A long time ago he placed some poems in obscure, now-defunct magazines.
