Johnston, Arlene

Arlene Johnston is a writer of novels, short stories, and poetry. Her writing includes other adventure/fantasy young reader novels, Jule's Story [which is the prequel to Sedna The Tenth Planet], and Magassus Mountain, both were published by Pine Lake Books. Arlene has also written a book of poetry, Poems in the Key of Life. In 2003, her entry 'The Sound of Loneliness' won first prize in the Canoe FM radio short story contest. Several of her short stories have appeared in The Haliburton County Echo's Christmas supplement. Arlene lives in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, Ontario, Canada.
