Dr. Gary Alan Johnson is professor of obstetrics and gynecology and chief of the gynecologic oncology division at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is director of the Gynecologic Oncology Clinic at the SimmonsCooper Cancer Institute at SIU. Previously, he was on the faculty for 15 years at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, most recently as an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology and the director and chairman of the palliative care committee.
