I entered Naval college at 15 and served my time in the Far East before returning to London just in time for the Swinging sixties. I played guitar and sang with various groups and sang on TV. My agent got me an equity card and I worked as a film extra and stunt man on such shows as Moonstrike, Z Cars. Every summer I escaped from London and worked part time as a Yachtmaster in the UK and Med or as a beach Lifeguard.
