Jackie Johns is a Pentecostal pastor and seminary professor. He has been married since 1974 to Cheryl Bridges Johns. They have two married daughters, Alethea Allen and Karisa Smith, and four grandchildren, Camdyn Allen, Charlie Allen, Tegan Smith, and Harper Smith. He has taught at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee since 1985. He and his wife co-pastor the New Covenant Church of God in Cleveland, a church they founded in 1989. He has served for fifteen years on the Board of Directors of the Appalachian Ministries Educational Resource Center (AMERC) and for ten years
