Ji, You

Dr You Ji is a graduate of Beijing University and the Australian National University and teaches political science at the University of New South Wales. He was among the first to analyse the PLA Navy's transformation into a 'blue water' navy and to plot the development of China's new national defence strategy. Among his publications are "In Quest of High Tech Power: The Modernisation of China's Military" (1996) and "China's Enterprise Reform: Changing State/Society relations since Mao" (1998).
