Alan Farmer is first and entrepreneur and second an economist. This his first book is based upon his true experiences in the gold business in the United States and Canada during the last gold rush of the twentieth century. Alan was born in England and came to Canada to attend Mc Gill University BA (Econ) where he became exposed to the booming mining industry during the Korean War. He now lives in the Columbia River Valley in British Columbia with his wife a successful artist
