Jeffreys-Jones, Rhodri

Rhodri Jeffreys-Jones is professor emeritus of American history at the University of Edinburgh. He has published widely, two of his best known works being The CIA and American Democracy and The FBI: A History. His latest book is In Spies We Trust: The Story of Western Intelligence. Andrew Lownie has written books on John Buchan, literary Edinburgh and the spy Guy Burgess.
