Jefferson, William J.

WILLIAM JEFFERSON is the author of a book of short stories entitled Dying is the Easy Part, published in 2007. This novella is his second book.

He grew up in poverty in rural Louisiana, on a small farm, with nine brothers and sisters. He learned to hunt there with his father and came to love the sport. His parents, Mose and Angeline, instilled in him a strong faith in the power of God and of education. He is a trustee in the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church.
