Jeanes, Ruth

Ruth Jeanes is a Research Fellow in Youth Sport in University of Central Lancaster, where she undertakes sociological and policy research in the areas of youth sports policy and sports development. Ruth has completed evaluations for UK Sport, UNICEF, The British Council, The Youth Sport Trust, The Cricket Foundation, The Football Association and Football Foundation on a variety of youth sport initiatives. Ruth has also worked extensively as a Sports Development practitioner for Local Authorities and Sport England (1999 - 2002) and continues an active football and cricket coach.
