About the Author Susan Coulis is a polymer clay artist residing in Bradenton, Florida. Originally from Stowe, Vermont she moved to Florida over thirty years ago. The first place Susan lived was beautiful Anna Maria Island. What started as a marketing idea to promote her beaded clay and medallion style jewelry, became a desire to learn more about the Timucuan people and the long, lost history of Ana Maria Cay.
