Designer Judy Whitman has a background in elementary education. "My company is JBW Designs, which has evolved over the years," Judy says. "It was first established with the goal of producing teaching samplers for needlepoint shops. The first cross stitch designs had quilting themes. Eventually, a new smaller size format was developed and named 'Sweet Nothings.' I wanted the name to evoke a simple elegance and yet offer patterns that appeal to many age groups."
