John Stark brings a wealth of imagination to audiences young and old through children's books as well as in song and story performances. John's inspirations range from childhood experiences with African- American storyteller Arthur "Pipe" Montgomery, to his days as a mountain travel and sea-kayaking instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School. John works through organizations such as Mississippi Leave No Child Inside and Children Nature Network to insure that this generation of children have a chance to grow up enjoying the wonders of nature as he did.
