Jara, Helene Simkin

Helene Simkin Jara has had her short stories, monologues and poems published in Mindprints, The Porter Gulch Review, La Revista, Gambara Literary Review, and Nerve Cowboy. She was a finalist in Glimmertrain. She was awarded Best Prose 3 times in The Porter Gulch Review and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize by Mindprints. She was twice a winner in a monologue contest at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts in Carmel as well. She has been an actor and director since 1966.
