James, William Dobein

William Dobein James fought under Francis Marion, "Swamp Fox" of the American Revolution. After the war, James wrote a book about Marion's exploits, which is now available as "Swamp Fox: General Francis Marion and his Guerrila Fighters of the Revolutionary War."
