The author was born in New York City. After attending schools in Westchester County, he went on to graduate college in Pennsylvania. He became a "nutmegger" from Connecticut and currently resides in Maryland. He is married and has three children. And yes, there are Pine Lakes in New York, Connecticut and Maryland, as well as in West Virginia.
