James Cotton, Cotton

James Cotton has been describing farm life as an editor, freelance feature writer, and photographer since 1972. He is a graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville, Pennsylvania, and a Vietnam veteran. Cotton and his wife, Janene, live in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. They have four sons and two grandchildren.
