Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains, Tyrone Jaeger has also lived in Florida, Ireland, California, and Colorado. A graduate of the PhD program in creative writing at the University of Nebraska, he currently teaches at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. His work is published in the TOAD SUCK REVIEW, EXQUISITE CORPSE ANNUAL, The Oxford American, The Literary Review, Descant, Southern Humanities Review, and many others. He writes a regular online column, "A State of Wonder: Notes from the Upland South," for The Oxford American. THE RUNAWAY NOTE is his first book- length publication.
