Jacques, Mary J.

Mary J. Jacques is best known for her book Work and Play: A Children's Book for Home and School (1881), - a combination of games and instruction for young children - and for her collection of poems Dream Roses with Madrigals (1897). She is also author of many articles and poems in magazines and circulars concerning parenting and children's education throughout the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
