Jackson, Brandon

Since the age of 13, Brandon Jackson has had a love for spoken word poetry. In college, he participated in slam competitions and open mic performances throughout Texas, Michigan, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. Currently, Brandon has featured in the Dallas community at venues such as W.O.R.D, The Truth Project, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Queerly Speaking and many more. His creative goal is to provide an impact of social and emotional awareness, relating to others by sharing poetry that reflects experiences he and others have encountered.
