Art Isberg has been a freelance writer for three decades. In that period of time his short stories have been featured over two hundred and forty times in Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, Sports Afield, Safari, Bugle, Fly Fisherman, Saltwater Fisherman, and many other magazines, as well as newspapers and western historical societies. He is the author of seven books including The Plainsman, The Americanos, Search for the Golden Bucket Mine, Lost Diablo Curse, and an autobiographical book titled Outdoor Reflections of the 1940's in paperback.
