Ilf, Ilya

Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov were two Soviet prose authors who lived and worked in Odessa, Black Sea. They travelled did much of their writing together, and are often referred to as Ilf and Petrov. Most notable work includes characteristic for their writing satire novel The Twelve Chairs and sequel The Golden Calf.
