ICE-T was born in Newark, New Jersey, and moved to Los Angeles, California. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Army for four years. Ice-T began his career as a rapper in the 1980s and was signed to Sire Records in 1987. He's sold more than ten million records. Ice-T formally began his acting career in the film "New Jack City".
