Erica Hutchings is a stay at home mom of two feisty boys and a loving wife. She was born on a late spring day in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Brooklyn until her pre-teen years when parents moved the family out to the South Shore of Long Island. Erica's attributes her love of reading and writing to PBS television show, Reading Rainbow. As a teenager, Erica wrote V.C. Andrews fan-fiction in hard black and white marble notebooks. English teachers took notice and advised her to continue writing. They told Erica to pursue a career in journalism and writing, but at the time it wasn't meant to
