Hunze, Helga

Born in 1939, Helga lived throughout the war and its aftermath on the island of Borkum in Germany. She studied Hotel Management and spent a student year at the Alliance Francaise in Paris, France. In 1962 she married an American soldier and moved to Connecticut where they established their home and raised two daughters. Books and writing have been a life long passion. Helga began to write in early childhood and for the most part, her lack of restraint with the pen and outspoken views have caused problems in her life.
