Leslie Hummel was born in Indiana and raised in too many distant lands to count. She reckons this might be why she became good at languages but remains hopeless with numbers. Her Business degree earned her a job in Silicon Valley where she was asked to smuggle computer chips into Turkey without having seen 'Midnight Express'. In Argentina, she was accused of industrial espionage. And bribed. Writing a series of books about gold diggers, or SHEBUGS, has resulted in a much safer career. Leslie resides in London with her husband, two daughters and two siamese cats.
