Hughes, Will

Will Hughes was born in Peekskill, NY and received his BA in Journalism from the University of Albany. At the urging of his mentor, William Kennedy (Ironweed), he received his MFA in Writing from the School of Arts, Columbia University. In 2005, he received his PhD in Communication from UMASS-Amherst. He is the author of a novel, Bannerkill, six screenplays and dozens of television pilots.
