*** First Author, Peter C Hughes. *** Hughes became Professor at the University of Toronto in 1974. He has had visiting appointments in the Canadian Space Agency and at Purdue University. Hughes performed the dynamics models used in the design of the NASA space shuttle and space station remote manipulator arms. His text-reference book Spacecraft Attitude Dynamics, has been re-published (2004) by Dover Publications as a classic in its field.
