Cindy is not only an author, but also an award winning singer/songwriter. Her first book (co-written with T.B. Burton) is titled, Time in Contention. In the 1980's, Cindy wrote a quarter page column for a Houston area newspaper. She is a member of the Western Music Association, The Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association (being 2011, 2012, 2013 Songwriter of the Year) and inducted into The Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012.
