Hsieh, Thomas

Katja Mokha was born in London and moved to rural New Zealand aged four. Growing up around books and authors fed her creative ideas, as did the natural beauty of the New Zealand wilds. Aged nine, she had the idea for Zoe and Jake visit the Dentist. Inspired by her five year old sister, who found normal books about 'first time' visits uninspiring, Katja decided to spice things up. Katja has since been shortlisted in short story competitions, and was published, aged eleven, in the hyperfiction collection 'Beyond This Story."
