KENNETH R. HOWEY is Research Professor in the College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services at the University of Cincinnati. He was also Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he coordinated the Teacher in Residence Program. He was the principal investigator for the longest running study of teacher education in the United States.
