Emma Howard grew up in Chandler, Arizona. She earned a Bachelor's degree in education and taught for 3 years before taking time off to raise her children. She is happily married with three children. In her spare time she enjoys playing softball and going water-skiing. Emma Howard is most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Her ideal vacation would be sitting on a beach, watching her children play in the sand, while reading a book.Emma came up with the idea for this book, after reading several novels in which the female character had to be rescued.
