Barry has served the homeless and community as the Executive Director at the Topeka Rescue Mission for over twenty-six years. Prior to his service at the Mission, he spent ten years working in the field of mental health. For most of his life, he has desired to draw closer in his relationship with God by walking alongside those who suffer. Frequently his eyes have been opened to see and experience God, while helping those who are in the midst of depression, hunger, homelessness, mental illness, addiction, anger, and hopelessness.
