Born and raised in rural Maine, Christopher grew up on an untraveled road in the middle of nowhere. No cable, no internet, not even streetlights: books and words became his closest friends, and he devoured anything he could get his hands on. Christopher eventually moved on to earn his degree in education and spent the next decade teaching middle school English.
