David Hornsby was with the Ministry of Education (Victoria, Australia) for many years and taught at every year level. He lectured in education at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and La Trobe University. For four years he was a curriculum consultant in primary and secondary schools and then returned to the primary classroom.
