Horn has stayed true to Howard Pyle's teachings in the fantasy characters that he has painted over the past twenty plus years. The mystical paintings and sculptures of the Catholic Church were his first experience with transcendent imagery. The crowning achievement to his 21 years as an illustrator was for his painting "Arcadia" to be chosen as the cover of prestigious fantasy art annual SPECTRUM 9.
