LtCol Thomas R. Waldron was on active duty in the USAF from 1962-1984. He recorded combat missions in three USAF aircraft-the KC-135, and two Sikorsky helicopters, the HH-3 and the HH-53. On November of 1970 he flew with Marty Donohue as his co-pilot on Apple 3- mission gunship in the attack on the Son Tay POW camp in North Vietnam. Col .
