Hoover, Greg

Greg Hoover has loved the Smoky Mountains for over 50 years and has lived less than an hour away from them since 1987. He has spent many hours backpacking, day hiking, fishing, and paddling in and around these mountains. He teaches Sociology at Carson-Newman University, so he includes pertinent insights on the history of the Smokies and the culture of the people who have lived there.
