Hoogmartens, Jan

Jan Hoogmartens is the Director of General Policy in the Office of the Belgian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. He also serves as an advisor to the Flemish Liberal Democratic Party in the Belgian Parliament on various issues. He has a Master of Arts in language and literature from the universities of Leuven and Heidelberg. He read law at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has a Master of Laws from the University of Leuven, a Master of Laws from the University of Hong Kong and a PhD from the University of London.
