Holcomb, Barry

Barry Holcomb came from the stereotypical Southern town of Clinton, South Carolna, which bore a strong resemblance to Mayberry of television fame. In this setting, he matured with traditional values and faith. He met his first love in college; they married and settled into small town life, Barry as a Special Ed teacher and Carol as a legal secretary. Small town life often only offers small opportunities, so as his family grew they moved to larger Charlotte, NC where Barry managed restaurants for 25 years. He returned to school for a few courses, working for a few years as an In-home Assistant
