Maggie Hogarth started writing books for children so she could read them to her own daughter... and because there aren't enough laundry dragons, swamp unicorns and garden hydras in the world for her taste. She lives in Florida with her family, the ghost of her dog, a ferocious betta, and all the thunderstorms that visit every day, very politely, at the same time every afternoon. Thunderstorms are very punctual. One can set one's clock by them. She's been drawing and writing since she was born, and her own mother will tell you so. Just ask about the papelitos, sit back, and enjoy!
