Jill Hoffman is the Founding Editor of MUDFISH and Mudfish Individual Poet Series. She is a poet turned novelist, the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a PhD from Cornell University, an MA from Columbia University, and a BA from Bennington College. Her first book of poems, Mink Coat, was published in 1973 by Holt, Rinehart and Winston; her first novel, Jilted, in 1993 by Simon & Schuster. She has had poems published widely, including in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, the New Republic and MUDFISH. She lives in New York and teaches writing in her home.
