Hoekstra, Mrs Bianca

The author comes from the Muenster area in Germany and was only 5 years old when she was given a hardcover Peter Pan comic book. She was impressed by the images, but the text was missing. This motivated her to write it on the last blank pages of the book. From then on she knew what she had to do. Several years later, she started out on an old Olympia typewriter again with which she would finally write the first manuscript.
