Hodge, Jeanne

A descendant of the earliest Kentucky settler families, Jeanne Hodge was born in Kentucky and lived there for most of her life. As a child she remembers listening to the stories and antics of her ancestors, which work their way into her stories. As well as having a first hand knowledge of the traditions of the people and the customs of the area, she shares with the reader a true glimpse into the lives of the people, their trials, their triumphs, and their values of hard work and honesty.
