Having earned a BA in English Literature from Hunter College in New York, and an MA In English Lit from San Jose State University, Phyllis Hoag spent thirty-three years as an educator. Her career included sixteen years on the elementary level, a touch of teaching English and Philosophy on the secondary level, a stint as a School Librarian and Computer Lab Media Teacher and ten years as a Resource Teacher for the Learning Handicapped.
