Mike Hirsh is a lifelong journalist who has won the Peabody Award, a Writers Guild Award, and multiple Emmys for documentaries, investigative reports, and specials produced for PBS, CBS, ABC and HBO. In 2010 he was honored with the Vietnam Veterans of America Excellence in the Arts Award. Among his TV productions were several about young people, including "Guess Who's Pregnant?," "College Can Be Killing," and a five program series on the prevention of child sexual abuse.
