KaaVonia Hinton is the author of several books for children and the co-author (with Gail K. Dickinson) of Integrating Multicultural Literature in Libraries and Classrooms in Secondary Schools (Linworth Publishing, 2007) and (with Kathy T. Bucher) Young Adult Literature: Exploration, Evaluation and Appreciation (Prentice Hall, 2009).
