Hiatt, Kathi

Retired from Butte County Social Services and California State University, Chico the Hiatt's currently reside in a small mountain community in Northern California. Kathi Hiatt is decreed in Behavioral & Social Sciences and the first place recipient of The Butte Literacy Council's '2015 Literacy Award' for her short story, 'Rumination'. The Hiatt's are active members of the Northern California Writers Association and are long-term supporters of the SPCA (Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and local animal groups and shelters.
