Formerly a reporter for The Korea Times and the Yonhap News Agency, Kim Heung-sook has worked as a cultural affairs specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. Having spent years writing columns for The Korea Times, the Hankook Ilbo, the Hankyoreh Shinmun, and the Free Column, she currently hosts "A Happy Walk" on TBS Seoul. She has authored From Woman to Human, Whenever I Call You I Become Thirsty, and Seeing, and translated many books, including Kim Tae-kil's Korean Values Mirrored in Fiction (Parts I & II) and Chung Han-sook's novel Bridge.
